Message from the Chair

Welcome to Computational Life Sciences. Our team uses advanced computing tools to help scientists develop new drugs, assess the risk of adverse risks, design smarter clinical trials and drive precision medicine.

We are committed to creating a community of investigators who can question and study the range from healthy living to disease conditions using our state-of-the-art resources, including the Discovery Accelerator and the Cleveland Clinic BioRepository.

• The Discovery Accelerator is a 10-year partnership between Cleveland Clinic and IBM to advance the pace of discovery in healthcare and life sciences by using high-performance computing — including the hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence and quantum computing technologies.
• Cleveland Clinic's BioRepository collects voluntarily donated biological samples and associated health information from patient visits, blood draws and surgeries for medical research.
